Carey Fitzgerald is a dynamic, hands-on business entrepreneur. Having run a number of London based Film & TV companies, including Liberty Films and High Point Films, she founded Cork and London based Silver Mountain Productions in 2017 embracing new technologies while continuing to specialise in the production, global sales, financing and distribution of movies, both theatrical and television, drama and documentaries. 


With credits ranging from cult classic Monty Python’s Life of Brian to the Oscar nominated Twin Sisters, Carey has worked in all areas of the Film and TV business from production to marketing, global sales, financing and distribution. On top of enjoying Oscar and Cannes selections on the film side, her contribution to TV has been significant, having put together numerous productions, including dozens of BBC Prime-Time movies starring such high-profile names as Naomi Watts, Imelda Staunton and Damien Lewis


Recent highlights include Bruce Goodison’s multi-award-winning Leave to Remain, starring Toby Jones, Igor Voloshin’s tense missing person thriller, Cellar, starring Jean-Marc Barr, and the music driven, Kat and the Band, starring up and coming Ella Hunt with international pop sensation Dougie Poynter from McFly and McBusted.
